Day 1 pics - Wall between dining and kitchen is gone, all cabinets gone, ceiling gone.  Happily the wall removed was not remotely load-bearing.  It's hanging off the 2nd floor joists which are saddled on a double 2x12 with a 1/4" steel plate in the middle.  That means the master bedroom above the dining room isn't going anywhere <G>.
